Can I please make an effort to bump this thread? While his lack of grammar and lack of "fame" on this site may make some overlook this thread quickly, the message it sends is a strong one. I know first hand the annoyance of kids blabbing constantly about the new sickest parts to get, and unloading tons of money into parts they'll never need because they suck. I have seen this happen plenty of times, and it's worthless. I disagree with the first post in that I think that people start the sport because they think it's fun, and get all into the parts and working on their scooter, instead of actually riding it. But I think the interest is sparked with an initial sense of fun. The only thing that keeps me around is having fun.
I think, at least for me, it happens in more than one way. Riding in itself, isn't as fun as it used to be for me. Trips/traveling and getting to ride with new people in new places and getting to experience new culture, that is the fun I get out of riding mostly now. It's awesome every single time I get away from home and get to experience somewhere new.
Overall, everyone needs to shut up and stop being pussy bitches, ride what you have, love what you ride, and get over having the best setups. Just ride, and enjoy yourselves out there. <3
