Wheel re-enforcement:)

I found that if you go to the hardware store and pick up a 2 part epoxy called plastic welder and use it to fill in the gaps of 14 spoke razor wheels then its like turning them in to solid cores. the epoxy hardens and turns in to a tough plastic. so far its working great. Just thought i would spread the word if anyone was interested.

yea me and my friend sean used to do that and yes it did work great but then i found yaks and had a happily ever after

Maybe im stupid but... I assume that youre putting the wheel on some kind of surface and pour the hot glue into it... How do you make that surface not glue to the wheel?

yeah thats it thanks bri,

you put something like saran wrap or duct tape covering one side of the core then fill up the other side then tear it off once its dry, hardened, etc... does that make sense?

just make sure when you cover it up its sealed enough cuz when you put the glue or whatever in you can't have it leak out the bottom and not be flush with the edge of the wheel or it'll scrape the fork when it rolls

yea i after a while of scootering with the epoxy i noticed that it cracks because its so hard. so now im using hot glue and it is a little softer so its not as brittle. it holds the wheels pretty damn good.
