Wheels, 100 or 110 which are better and what are advantages

Which are better 100s or 110s. Other than the obvious size difference, what the difference in ride characteristics ?

110s are faster and there's a bigger/better range of 110 mm wheels. There's no point getting 100 mm wheels unless you ride a stock fork that can't fit 110 mm wheels.

ive seen somewhere that apparently 100mm's are for park riding and 110's are for street but idk if thats legit

the majority of lower range model scooters come with 100mm wheels and higher model scooters come with 110mm, not sure if that has anything to do with this but ill say it anyway

personally, 110's are nicer because theyre bigger and roll faster, and theres alot more choice with them

there's nothing about street or park, that more has to do with the urethane hardness

width affects weight, and smaller widths are better for slinging the scooter around and doing lots of whips and whatnot, so tech riders like em
110s are for more speed, so flowy riders and street fiends who like to go fast like them
125s are even more for speed

Size doesn't mean more speed. It depends on much more than that. Hardness, rebound, amazingly inertia(noticeable at over 20 kph), core structure, core flex, core/Pu size ratio and obviously weight. Iv'e got 100mm that show me size doesn't matter. They were made by MGP, tested by me. They are much faster than my all my 110s 120s and 125s. Bigger wheels only change the clearance and are always heavier. Do heaps of tricks? 100mm. Anything else? 110 and 125 if you can get it

scooter hut 125, grippiest that ive experienced by a far measure (all wheels change when worn e.g: flat from brake, powerslides and sliders) and fastest is mgp aero core in 100mm. Best of both? Phase 2 fullcores. Cheap, strong, imo best pu available. Also 2013 flavors were good and if heard good from 2014 ones except the Pu tears in strange ways so idk if its worth it.

And i stand by my point. you may think its faster, but go down a hill, leaving at the same speed and chances are you will end up going very close in speed, if you notice a difference then its the weight/flex of the core causing it. You would get a difference once going over 50 kph, but that's beyond what we do at a park or really anywhere but a mega ramp/extreme hillbomb and even then it's not appreciably noticeable. My mates and i test it all the time, random wheels i own and see which is fastest. That's how i ended up with that result, i don't own every single wheel, but I have a lot (at least 30 different models of wheels, 5 sizes)

Stop being a pussy and buy 110. There is absolutely no reason ever to buy a 100mm wheel any more.

Faster, less rolling resistance, higher ground clearance etc are all good advantages of a 110mm wheel.

I did 50kph once haha

125s are the best thing to happen in ever lmao. I dont see why its not the standard yet, theyre so much faster and smoother. Ive been running my running the royce king 125s for a few months and whenever i ride other peoples scooters it feels like im not getting anywhere no matter how hard i push and carve/pump.

125 may ride much better but they look fucking ridiculous. They remind me of those Dora the Explorer scooters with 16" plastic wheels and bike tyres.

they really don't look that bad, big scooters are the future. since when is it all about looks over performance anyway
