I am at Univ of Georgia :)
Going greek is so gay. Don't do it.
question, are you in a fraternity? considering my brother is currently a sig ep at wsu and my sister was pres of sigma kappas at wsu as well I know from first hand experience that it's actually pretty fucking awesome.
obviously you'll have the frat's with the fratstar douches that are driving mommy and daddy's mercedes around and trying to be as "fratty" as possible, but that's only a select few and you can choose to not join those.

EDIT: If you read TFM and take that seriously than you're stupid.

EDIT EDIT: Also my grandfather, great uncle, and my great grandfather all went greek and they're some of the most respectable and successful men I have ever met. I have legacy at sigma phi epsilon, sigma chi, and tau kappa epsilon so I have some options.

^ben, i rushed a few frat houses. the parties are FUCKING AWESOME and a few of the brothers are prob chill BUT if theres anyone in the house that you dont like, well, your gonna have to live with them for the next 3-4 years and deal with their shit everyday. I was always told that its a major pain in the ass. Also... pledging is some sketchy shit. I feel its better just to be friends with the house, still get to go to all the functions, and not have to put up with all the other bullshit

Which fraternities did you rush? there are a few like my brothers sig ep chapter that are non-hazing fraternities and actually mean it, I'll do my research before choosing and I get along with just about everyone, including the frat star douchers.

sig ep is a good chapter. I rushed a bunch of houses but my favorite was TEP (tau epsilon pi). It was a killer mansion that was secluded just a few minutes outside of town. Craziest and best times of my life

If i end up going to A&M I'm gonna try hard for sig ep, if i go to west texas A&M I don't know much about the fraternities that they have there, i know they don't have any chapters that I have legacy at which is kind of a bummer but what ev, and if U of I than it'll be between sigma chi and sigma alpha epsilon.

probably going to end up at west texas though.

alotttttttttttttttttt of people do that. or vice versa. Both majors are super popular right now amungst younger people cuz of all new non-traditional forms of advertising. i was thinking about doing that too but getting a job would be tough cuz so many people would have the same skills.

and personally idk where im going to go. probably rutgers cuz its close by and my gpa sucks. I really wanna go somewhere in connecticut though, such a beautiful state
Its actually pretty easy to find a job in advertising due to its current influence on buyers in our world today. Advertising is everywhere.

And Chris, Id love to go out to cali and stuff but traveling there and back is just so expensive and exhausting. Idk maybe all throw some pacifics on my list.

trying man, fucked up and failed a few classes (mostly non core) my freshman and sophomore year so i have to be on top of shit this year and next, plus I went from wa schools which are easy as fuck and 6 mediocre classes a day to texas schools which are (for me) 8 classes a day of a harder class, definitely gonna help my gpa though.

and as for degree, i want to go for business (not to sure on what yet though) and i know A&M and west A&M have 4a business schools which is the highest accreditation you can get, so hopefully I'll get in to one of those two.

I have found the cool frats here at Georgia but they are far and few. I'm sure it's great if it's in your blood or you have a lot of money, but I have neither of those. It's just not my lifestyle.

For you youngins I would suggest not going to school until you really know what you want to do. Or at very least take random classes that you think would be fun for a semester or two to see what you're actually interested in. My first year of college was kind of wasted because I didn't know what I wanted, and I feel like I'd rather have majored in something other than what I did.
