Ace hardware, Home depot ( maybe ) and I have found it at places like CVS also. The ace hardware near my house only has black though. But at a CVS I found almost all the colors. if you want DARK purple, use almost all of it. The more you put = darker. but be careful, I wanted to dye my wheels yellow and I put all of the gold dye in and they came out orange.

Ok this was a complete fail, i bought some light blue rit like (dylan kasson sig color) and put it in the boiling pot, i looked at it and it was yellow. I was like well thats not gonna work. So i immediately put in a whole pack of purple rit. Now my wheels have been soaking for alittle over 6 hours. They are like a yellow brown color. Wtf do i need more purple? or wtf did i do wrong!?

You don't need much half a packet will do. You can get it from craft stores like spotlight and usually hardware stores stock it as well. You might even be able to pick it up at walmart now.

ok heres what i did to dye my grippers black and it worked perfectly.
i bought a pack of rit dye at michaels for 3$
i put about enough water like just a bit over the wheels like 1 or 2 inches
i used the whole pack
you have to wait for the water to boil then turn the element off and and wait like 2 minutes so its not intense, but still boiling. then stir the dye and put the the lid on and wait like 2 hours and wash them.

they came out perfect and look like factory black pu and havent wore off at all.

Yeahh you really gotta let the wheels sit for as long as possible.. doesnt have to be boiling water as long as its submerged in the water with the dye and its in there for at least overnight to 24 hours time
