Whip bar flat

I've landed 6, but after I came back to scootering I kept having a problem where when I catch the whip it keeps spinning so I throw the scooter after throwing the bar, I've got whip catches pretty consistent but when I go to throw the bar I can't keep the deck still


Anyone know what I'm talking about or that can help me?

you need to fully catch the whip before throwing the bar. What you're doing happens to most people when they learn whip bars. Just think of it as a whip catch then a bar. You're throwing the bar slightly too early.

Keep practicing Late bar spins, And pre catch the whip before throwing the bar..

Also some fresh grip-tape helps alot.
