Are you agnostic about a unicorns just because you cant prove there isnt one. I would think you would say you dont believe in unicorns. So why be agnostic about a god. And another point he makes is that people who are running for president are basically trying to take away our rights because of some book. And thats why religion is harmful, its not mocking its a legit issue.

Sadly, there is no absolute proof for either side. There is evidence for both but the main point is that you either to choose one or the other.

No thats not how it is at all. There is no religion that makes any sence or has "EVIDENCE". On the other hand there is evidence to prove them wrong.You cant prove that there isnt some flying guy out there LOL. Just watch some of the vids i just posted. If you said you believed in Zues you would be called crazy this day in age. But people can beileve in some christian god and be called completely fine in this society. Makes no sense at all.

I am a man of science, so none of this theism for connor. But as far as religion goes when you take away theism, it's not all that bad. Faith is silly. Religion isn't. Jesus preached peace, and that, I'm perfectly fine with.
Also most of you "atheists" here are pushing your views on people. You don't want them to do that to you, so stop being such huge hypocrites.

So jesus preached peace but his father (GOD) killed villages of people for no reason and now were all sinners becuase of someone eating a apple. I dont think thats peace to me. Either is spending the rest of eternity in hell for not believing in bullshit that makes no sense and is completely absurd. And its not pushing i give my opinions to other people and sometimes they actually change there mind on some issues. Thats not a bad thing if we didnt stand up about stuff we would still be under the rule of a king.

I definitely don't think Jesus ever preached anything about hell. Jesus came AFTER all this nonsense was established. No, he's not the son of God. Neither was Gandhi, but he made a pretty huge impact through preaching peace. Also the apple thing is a story. And Christianity's view on faith is pretty pessimist obviously, but the point of it is to take out what you think is right, and use your judgement.

So basically what your saying is you can pick whatever the hell you want to out of the bible when it was supposedly gods true word and everything in it is true. And to be a true christian you cant just pick out the stuff you like and all the horrible stuff he did just doesn't exist. He claimed to be the son of god so i dont see what your point is. If you didnt know jesus didnt just teach peace he taught the bible which involves alot things that are messed up and not peaceful at all. Im not a hypocrite so i dont know where your getting that from. I think everyone should have the right to believe and discuss wtver they want. Of course there are some good rules in the bible which i believe in following but you cant take things out from the bible and ignore everything else in it. You dont need jesus to teach you about morals i can do that by just using reasoning and treating others the way you would like to be treated.

There is actually no passage in the bible that exclusively says that Jesus stated he was the son of God. For all we know, that was most likely because he never was, and being a several thousand year old book, the bible isn't reliable for info like that. You could have been a street magician and people would have stoned you to death, because they weren't very smart back then. And you don't have to be a Christian to pick up the bible and think, "that is a good life lesson". There are many stories in the bible that apply to human morals.
And you're a hypocrite because you don't want religion to be shoved in your face, yet you shove information in their face.
They have the right to think what they want, and to believe what they want.

Well he taught with such wisdom and authority that people were amazed. He performed many miracles, healed the sick and even raised the dead. Jesus forgave sins, which is something only God has the authority to do. God the Father raised Jesus from the dead three days after His crucifixion. His disciples heard the voice of God exclaim from Heaven, "This is My Son with whom I am well pleased." All of this secondary evidence is more than enough to prove who He was, whether He said it or not. Just as I said you earlier of course you can pick out some good advice from the bible but you can find your own morals using common sense you dont need some book with false information in it to give it to you. And what are you on about, i never said i didnt want people talk about religion to me i love discussing it. And im not shoving information, i am posting on a forum which is your choice to read it or not. There`s nothing wrong with that at all i cant educate people? and just like i said before i believe everyone should be able to believe in wtver they want. FAIL

Jesus never existed as far as we know. The bible is a book of metaphorical themes and lessons meant to push the practice of peace and respect for your fellow man into society, and should be taken as no more than such.
