Who is the person that got you started into scootering?

The person that got me into scootering was my friend steve who no longer scooter.

umm belive it or not coedie tripple tailwhiping the box at penrith about 5 years ago that got me started

and now i look bak on that caz now i can tripple whip that box

HOLY SHIT MARTIN I REMEMBER SKOOTERBITCH. I remember way back in the day watching some dude bust a double tailwhip over a planter gap and it was the sickest thing ever. Whatever happened to them? I remember they said it was going to be updated, but it never was... oh well.


I was the first kid on the block to have a scooter, so I guess it was my parents that got me into scootering. Christmas of 2000.

Myself. I sucked so much at skating, I looked up scooter backflip on youtube, and I notcied scootering was kool. So, since all I could do on a skateboard is a pop shove it, I quit, joined scootering.

I was reading old threads once, and came across the scooterbitch site. Its actually fun seeing how the sport has progressed. I think he was Sean Kane, not sure though.

Lets see, I had a cheap heavy scooter that I would try to do stuff on, but nobody "got" me into it. I found some sites on the web and stuff like the vids on the mitchells collectibles site, one was a 360 and I was so impressed haha. Then my friend got an electric scooter from Razor and it had RVM2, and I saw that, and was so amazed.

So it would have to be the Razor guys, lol Josh Toy- She schmells good :).

Oh and once I saw Jesse Macs doubleflip attempts on Youtube I was instantly hooked.

i used to just ride around try tailwhips and no footers. but kc when i saw him do a backflip at reedville got me into it

Yea he was soo good back then, but I think he had like 2 kids and needed more money, so he quit and started making porn sites instead.

No, really it was my father. He bought me my first JD Bug in Germany 3 or so years ago. Sweet time... I thought I was the best rider, the only one who can do tailwhips or 360s bla-bla-bla.... Then I broke my scooter and my father went to Moscow to buy me another one.... It has been repeating about 10 times.... God bless my father and his patience! He got me into scootering and he is my only sponsor for now. And off course thanks a lot to every registered user of ScooterResource! You all help me to feel that the sport is alive and that I am not alone!
