That would just be a scooterflip, not one handed bri flips. The bri flip name caught on becuase i kept my hands on. If you take your hand off its just a normal scooter backflip

Brian, actually i C what kevin is saying... Cause if you do a scooter flip.. instead of using the hand that stays on the bar.. think bout it, if you use the other hand to stay on the bars, you are going ot have to x up the bars to make the full scoot flip.

Umm the point is that mullen did ollies FLAT first. Before him, ollies were just no handed (without grabbing) airs off rams, but he was the first to do them such way that they could be done on flat (popping the tail off the ground etc.).

And yeah, kevin and sean are right, one handed bri flips are possible to do by taking off the opposite hand as when doing a reg. scooterflip but flipping the scooter on the same side of your body.

Edit: just went out and tried to learn them but i was to scared to try more than few times cause the rotation went all sideways and i was almost hitting my head, lol.

hmm so if you take your hand off its a scooter flip... if you leave your hands on its a bri flip... and if you take your hand off and the bars turn like a bri flip then its a 1 handed bri flip??

if this is correct i am no longer confused..yay

I think its correct... to be 100% exact: a bri flip is when you dont take off the hand thats on the same side of your body that you flip the scooter.
