why are many scooters so short?

meaning the bar height.. on a lot of scooters that I see compared to their users make you pretty much hunch over to hold the handles and it seems a bit uncomfortable to me but probably they're short because it's easier to do tricks on anyone have input on this?

are u using stock bars cause i only have short bars cause i like my bars wide and it evens it out your probley riding like 24 25 high

i have the razor pro model and want to get onepeice 18w 22h since i still dislike being hunched over.. maybe if i get good enough where ill be spending more time into scooting ill hunch over for doing tricks easier

edit: i looked @ your youtube vid and see that you have 21h bars so im wondering how tall are you? When i adjust the razor bars to 22h it feels like a good height because im not hunched over with my arms extended out comfortably.. im 5' 6"
im asking to see if its my height ( im not that tall ) that makes me feel like short bars are uncomfortable

I'm 5'7" and i rode 21.5 high with stock bars. now i ride 21 high with1 pieces. Thats a good height for you i'd say. stick with it and dont let others scooters influence your style. its all about whats comfortable to you, not how it looks exactly8).

the higher your bars are the more comfortable it is,but the more lower your bars are,the more control you have over your scooter.

im 5'7" and i have 21"s but im getting 23" high 1s soon cuz im not too much of a fan of being hunched over either, for u; u shud get the tallest bars u can find and if there too tall, just cut them if u have the tools

my back used to hurt heaps when I had lower bars. I ride 22h now. it feels so good. I can still do all my tricks.

I'm 5 foot 5 inches and i ride 22.4 high and 16.5 wide. It just feels right for me. I get people telling me my bars are high but it's usually just little kids with 11 inch high one pieces. The height doesn't affect me. I can still do tricks as easily as anyone. Except for bri's there a bit harder to do with higher bars

I'm 5'6" and I ride 21.5 high, 17.5 wide. Also, some people have longer arms than others which can also affect your opinion on bar height/width.
