Why are there practically ZERO bars that go past 24 inches tall?

I wear a 12, sometimes an 11.5

And if I can email a company, I'd much rather do that than ride scs just for height purposes

Riding high bars without scs is hard to find in the correct height, but it also puts alot of stress on the slit if you ride HIC

Just get a 3-4" scs and get some 24 high bars and you will be set.

I was talking to the guy from victory the other day at the escondido skatepark contest and we talked about varying bar height/width and he said that if someone were to ask for something wider/taller he would absolutely make them it's just a matter of asking.

I list 22" as the tallest bars I sell off the shelf on my website, I do this as it is a very common size and what I sell most of. I also offer a custom made option so the customer can spec the height/width they want. Biggest I have sent out were 24" wide by 27" high, most companies will be able to make a 1 off set of bars for you, just Email and ask nicely :)

I am 6'-1" and run 21.5" tall + tilt scs.
I would think that 24" tall bars in scs would be plenty tall for a guy your size...maybe too tall.
Damnn you must get such bad back pain, im 6ft and can't ride anything under 24"

stan rides 26 tall bars

Bingo. Haha, Stan and I have something in common, eh?

But he's like 6ft4

Refer to the first sentence of the thread, bro. (Thanks Rob)

From what I remember, District products are made overseas if I understand correctly? It's been a couple years, but I'm still pretty aware of the scene. I really like the AL-2 oversized bars but is that not a company I could email? Heat treated aluminum bars do sound ideal to lighten up my scoot, but I'm not a weight freak, if I have to opt for 4130 oversized, I gladly will. ( I'm riding a box reinforced pro deck with hotglued pro wheels and a blade brake, and a .120 offset inward fork keeping it oldschool like a few years ago before all the companies started popping up.) Yes, I'll be changing the fork.

because most people arent that tall :p if you want taller bars, just taper them or custom order them, or even custom make them

about district though, that may be tough because I'm pretty sure their parts are manufactured elsewhere, as with tsi to the best of my knowledge makes almost everything themselves
