Why do you ride

Its a lot more fun than bmxing first off, and i used to skate but wasn't really getting anywhere tbh, you have to ride one to know how fun they are.

It lets view the world differently than most people, like to me a stair set is a piece of art instead of just a way to get to another place and it gives me a reason to wake up in the morning and its something that I can work toward. And it's fun…

I can't imagine what life would be like if I didn't scooter.
Scooters have allowed me to meet and connect with people I never normally would have if I didn't ride...and not just people who live where I live, but all over the world.
I like to think I see much more of the world than most people do...and not the parts you would expect. The run-down schools, hidden ditches, old industrial areas, and so much more. That's aside from the usual beaches, downtown metropolitan areas, and other touristy places.
Riding scooters is fun for me not only because of the joy of landing tricks (whether it be new for me or not), but the location in which the trick was landed, and the people who were there to see it. I get a huge enjoyment out of traveling to new places and the people I ride with are the best friends I've ever had.
Scooters are my life, thats why I ride.

I ride because it is all I have.
without riding scooters I would be just one of the rest, just a normal kid from Iowa. Scooters are literally all I have to look forward to. School sucks, I have no friends there, the only legit friends I have are my scooter friends.
I fucking LOVE scooter riding and no matter how bad the scene gets, no matter how much it dies down in the future, I will keep riding because it is all I have.

Because i enjoy it, the feeling from learning new trick or knowing you have a trick every single try. Even when you're doing a trick and you know you're going to land it perfectly.
I would rather ride a Scooter than be the other kids that go to the mall everyday to go get Vans and Cargos to have "Swag". I like to do my own thing, i don't like to be trendy, i don't like to follow.

Same with me. The reason people started skating is because they wanted to be different not do what most of the kids were waiting there time doing. Now a days skaters are accepted and there are lots of poseurs and crap skates at my school. I just decided to scooter because it was different and people give me crap about it (which I kinda liked) It helps you stand out and be different.

its all ive ever done. its something i can just go out and ride and have fun and do little tricks. but right now what im most stoked on right now is andrews mini mega ramp. andrew chema and me fixed it up this weekend and its soooo fun. i love just meeting new people and chilling hardddd with the homies. and chilling harddd at street spots. and riding the spots. and filming with vx's. idk going on trips is the shittttt also. being able to travel all over is the best thing ever

I'm not going to give up on something i've been doing my entire life, I'm not going to lose my vibe for riding although i'm not the best, but progression is key.
