Why do you scooter?

I ride because it sets me apart from other people, and it's much easier to meet new people, for example, it's normally one of;
"Woah, you're really good on a scooter" (everyone thinks im good cos they haven't seen anyone on here)
"Why do you scooter?"
or
"Isn't your scooter a bit small?"

haha
but yeah, i can't ride bmxs, i don't skate, and i dislike rollerblading, i thought hey, "Im gunna do that" after my brother was on his scooter, and here i am, loving life

It makes me feel better about myself, in a way that i believe i have a talent. Everytime i ride a scooter, it doesn't feel amazing then, but if im at the skatepark without a scooter, im bored. Without scooters, i'd probably be a computer obsessive nob, who plays world of warcraft daily, all day.

And finally, it's because it keeps me healthy, and it is a good form of excersise. It keeps me out of trouble and all around, like Greg said

I love riding;

It keeps me healthy and fit.
I love the feeling of sticking a new trick.
I like being good at something that not many are.
I enjoy being able to push myself to progress and actually see results.
I like customizing my scoot myself to be stronger and unique.
I can always ride no matter what mood im in, and sometimes its the only thing that takes my mind off stuff.
I like that I can ride by myself or with friends and have just as good of time either way.

and as said in like every post before, its fun :b

i scooter cause honestly its the tightest SHIZ eva. like everyone that scoots is cool and understand what it is like to be the underdog in the extreme sports realm. and knowing that everyone at the park is watching you go off like no other is tight too. i half way want this sport to blow up and half way i dont because like where its at is really cool cause everyone that does is super chill and shizz. idk i just love scooting.

because i would bike since it's cooler, but ima pusssy so im on the next closest thing. If i had a bike i woulnd;t ride a scooter because bikes are for men and more ppl do it so its easier to fit in.,

agreed. i wish i could bike...no boundaries..

riding is a way of life though.

i scooter because its not the most popular sport where i come from in england except 4 terry price.
whenever i do any tricks on my scooter people just say i never thought you could do that on a scooter. also scootering is just so fun also most scooters arent that heavy so they are easy to thake around with you like if you had a bike you might not be allowed to go on the bus with it when you can with a scooter

The question shouldn't be 'why do you ride?'...

It should be 'why wouldn't you ride?'

But i ride for all the same reasons as hep greg
