My all problems just disappear when Im on my scoot and i love the awesome feeling when i land new tricks... I also meet great people and have good time with them.
Skateboarding isnt just my thing, im ok at it, but still it aint that fun.
Our local park sucks for BMX, there is just few boxes and miniramp. Bmx riding is fun, but that park sucks for it... Also, it costs to take bmx with you if you travel by train.

because i can always have a blast scootering, whether its at my house, my friends house or the skatepark, and it always makes me happy. It has also made me so many friends that are hilarious and just great to hang out with that i would have never gotten otherwise

Don't just be an idiot and write some dumb answer. Think about it for a bit, why do you scooter? This could be a good thread.

Just wondering.. in that documentary video of you, "while i have it" (i think) you said that you probably wont pursue riding a scooter into your older ages. Has this changed for you as you and the sport has progressed?

I'm going to be 23 in July. I'm not any amazing rider.. but i have tons of love for the sport, and I couldn't imagine, not riding a scooter.
There is something about our sport in particular that draws attention to the uneducated public and I would love to help spread what I know about the sport for the rest of my life. <3

I scooter because there is nothing else I'd rather do in my life.

Its fun. and the adrenaline you get from landing a new trick, and the most i like is just flowing around the skatepark landing every trick clean, thats like the best feeling ever.

i dont even know. i guess after 3 years of barely progressing in skating i realized it wasnt for me. in 7th grade i googled freestyle scootering in school for some reason and stumbled upon the monky web edit 1 lol. it seemed cool cause i was into bmx and skating at the time and its basically a cross. so i got home, busted a back 3 to fakie on a bank and i was hooked. after 2 bolted a's i got a rup and started taking it seriously. basically it. oh yeah all my skater friends think im some god when i back 3 a 5 so thats kinda cool.

No matter how shitty or good my day was, once I'm over the coping nothing of that matters, just the awesome feeling of being free flying around... :D

mainly because i have so much freedom when it comes to riding, my parents will let me do anything with the sport because they would like to see me progress. I'm not saying I'm spoiled and shit but when it comes to parks and stuff like that, they're down to take me to wherever! And its the only sport I'm good at hahaha.

I consider scootering as a form of art, a very special one. Like, to appreciate some certain kinds of music you need to have a sort of experience in listening. Same with scootering (and any other kind of extreme sports): when you do tricks, when you film, when you take photos, you begin to realise the beauty of riding and develop a vision, an outlook on how you think it should be like. Sharing this experience throughout videos, photos, jams and contests is what makes scootering worthwhile, as for me.

I started scootering when I saw these kids at the skatepark doing crazy shit on them.... I wanted to be just like them. When I got my first freestyle scooter I felt amazing. I have only been scootering for a year now but i am pretty good... For me its easy and fun.........

I got myself banned.
because i suck at skateboarding..... :(
jk, i liked riding my shitty foldy, why not take it to the next level. this one guy in my area, i knew he was a scooter rider, and he had somewhat of a "good" scooter. i never imagined the possibilities of a totally custom scooter market. after i bought my ultra pro, watched my first few youtube videos on scootering, i was hooked. it was an addiction, watching pros do tricks i never even thought was possible. hell, until i started riding, i didn't even know a tailwhip was possible on a scooter. but now, now that i ride, it's amazing. the feeling of my first tailwhip, unlike any other. now, the parts, the scooters, the videos, the enjoyment, the riding. it's all a passion. and it's one of the only things i'm passionate about in my life at the moment. i was never good at video games, team sports, anything athletic, but now that i show some skill in scooter riding, i feel like this is a whole new stage in my life.
