why scootering is dumb now

A lot of you wont get it, but scootering is 180 degrees different than 2-3 years ago, to the point where its basically a commercial sport now, it really angers me to see that the whole essence of it is almost gone, and theirs still only a few company's true to the game now.

Just my thoughts

dude i remember asc, back then you were cool if you had a pro model with box reiforcments, they dident have all this PhOeINix pRo sCOOters and Madd GEar prO garbage, every just rode for fun, not to be cool

i do miss the pro model days.
where a complete that was "dialed" was 65 with the bolt kit.
now its 300+
its a shame.

Eh, i still just ride for fun, like in the old days. I'm not saying its not fun to have a nice scooter, which i have, and so does edy so theres not much room to talk, but the only real reason i do it is to have fun and i dgaf what anyone thinks about me.

But yeah i remember in like 2006-2007, the days of like cooter con 1-4, it was the shit when you had buff bars or t bars but I still get the same amount of enjoyment out of riding now as i did then.

I also agree that there are too many dumbass little kids with phO3n!x and m@dd setups who cant tailwhip but really wanna be able to bri, and when i was their age i had a painted bolted pro. They are what is ruining scootering for me.

we could sit here and talk about the old days all day but that really isnt going to do anything, all tho i did love the old days lol.
its pretty much the little kids that ruin it..and non rider owned companys.

I don't understand... Progression is a bad thing? Do you not understand how many stupid people there are in the world who give in to all the bullshit? I guess we can also say damn the people who buy new cars with fancy air conditioning and electric windows. Those are just too nice and easily available.
I like riding a scooter. Mine is perfect to my liking. If a spoiled kid wants a cool one, then so it is.

You do realize you just proved that the only change from back in the day is more, frankly better options, right? And i don't think that's anything to complain about.

Just like having a pro model back in the day made you cool, now its MGP or blunt or whatever.

I started riding in ~2007 and I still LOVE riding pros/Old As. Best decks ever made.
...just too weak. RUP life.

I miss how chill riding was back in 2007-2009. It was less popular, more people hated us, etc.

Although you guys think its gay for bad people to have hella nice scooters it keeps all those componies in business so they can make more things and come up with stonger decks etc.
