And Chris, I hear ya, I hate the wheel. I just bought a classic controller and attach it to the Wii Remote. Works much better. Only downside is you can't drift or get the random boosts like you can with the wheel. But I hold my own without it. Have a 8000+ rating, and rarely ever drop below that.

i've never tried any other controllers, but the wheel does really get annoying

my rating sucks because ive played about three times online and stopped racing halfway through the race hahahahaha

but i think im gonna try out the gamecube controller and see how that goes

also i heard a little secret about you and a certain team of mine ;) !heart

Yeah, definitely try the Game Cube controller. You can still get a boost off the line, but the timing is really weird. You basically start gassing in between 3 and 2. And keep on the throttle, then quickly let off then push the throttle when he is in between 1 and green. If you get the timing right you will get a good boost. If not, you'll either burn out, won't get a boost at all, or get a really weak burst off the start. Either way, when you play online, any little boost off the start helps since most everyone runs the wheel and gets drifting in corners with random power up boosts.

And yeah, we'll see how that goes, hoping for the best though.

I was going to get that game but I never got it. Mabye I should have gotten it. Oh well, I'll get it eventually. And Josh, do u play SSBB on Wi-Fi?

ummmmmm i just read online to start holding down the gas when '2' starts to fade away and its worked for me

your way is too complicated for me hahahahaha :)

Haha, well I wasn't sre how to explain it, so I trailed off breaking it down.
