PS3 vs Wii : I'm so sick of PS3 fanboys telling ME the PS3 is whopping the Wii, or that it is better, one person actually tried to tell me it was 'hotter' than the Wii. I'm not kidding, someone used that against me in an Argument. What on EARTH does that have to do with anything. How can a foot by half-foot slab of plastic and data-reading chips be 'hot', 'sexy' or 'bootyliscious'? People who are attracted to the physical appearance of a games console should be shot point-blank, execution style, to kill. Let's look at the figures, at The Time Of Me writing this article the Wii has sold 1,118,675 units, the PS3 has sold a lowly 352,108 consoles (Courtesy of Nexgenwars.com). Also what is up with this Blu-ray thing. It's the 'future'. It sounds to me that Sony has ran out of ideas to improve their games, so they are selling us stuff we have never heard of to make up for it. "Oh, It makes the Games soooo realistic" - Classic Fanboy phrase. There are two things I hate about this. If I wanted to do things 'realistic' I wouldn't be playing a Playstation, I would be outside doing them. Not inside salivating on 'realism' in a video game. If I am supposed to be impressed by a Ã?Æ?Ã?â??Ã?¢ââ??¬Ã?¡Ã?Æ?ââ?¬Å¡Ã?â??Ã?£425 price tag for a video games console? How about a type of graphic reading ray I have never heard of? Throw in Short supply, delayed Europe release dates, the systematic destruction of Loyal Sony customer's satisfaction and the insulting, ignorant and inane actions of Sony fanboy's and you have Sony's latest product. The Wii may have a name that sounds like another word for piss, but the people who use that as a point in an argument aren't exactly the type of people who are mature enough to actually own a games console outside the Leapster L-MAX Family. Well I'm finished ranting because I actually believe if I keep writing I will persuade myself to kill a PS3 fanboy. They may believe in a futile system that will go the way of the Sega Dreamcast (which the PS2 killed, ironically) if I have any say in the matter, but at least they voice their opinions (Even if all their main arguments include the words LMAO, LOL, The Wii is pure 'dairt' and OMGROTFLMAOLOL, L0L, 'it means piss') (2/12/06)

woah cmac, chill out. its just video games dude.

right now, ive got a ps3 and a wii in my house. all i do is play the wii, i really could care less about the ps3 and im trying to sell it. thats only because right now theres no reason to own one, prices are rediculous and there arent any good games. like brian said, however, once some decent titles come out for the ps3 and they work out all of the glitches, itll be a great system. im expecting gta4 to be the best game ever.

fact of the matter is, wii is more of a toy than a console, as opposed to the ps3 which is meant as a whole entertainment system. wii focuses on fun, thats it. i love the wii, and wii bowling is easily one of the best things to do when intoxicated, but i think the ps3 is an all around better system.

Actually, I originally Titled this 'Wii Discussion Thread' and it turned into a Debate, so Brian told me to rename it Wii vs PS3, and so I did

My ps2 is broke now and my friend broke 3 of his before he finally got a slim one when they came out
not to mention that their cooling fans don't actually cool down the system.

Nintendo has only failed a few times at making systems (virtual boy wost selling system ever and gamecube in my opinion anyway) and the gameboy sp was one of the highest selling products a gaming company has made.(although i wish they would have just made the gba like that in the first place or the ds and then making a ds lite instead just making it right in the first place). I just wish that they would start making better games it seems like the only 2 games that actually get better every time is super smash bros and Zelda games but idk i cant wait for some more wii games to come out though cause even if i still prefer duck hunt over them they are still fun.

supa smash bros is gonna be awsome i will never leave my house. i will build in indoor skatepark so i can scooter then right after play WII!

Dude, I cant fucking beleve people argue over fucking graphics and hard ware.

The simple answer is just
-Which has the funnest games to play.

I still LOVE Super smash bros on N64, why? Because its simple, enjoyable and fucking awesome.

So therefor its just your own personal choice, neither is better than the other, only to one self.

Yeah I really couldnt give a shit less about graphics and framerate and hardware. Games were meant for people to have fun. And thats just what they should focus on.

personally i like both of them, got the wii for christmas and the ps3 for an early birthday present since its only less than a month, but the wii's games arent that great yet, but i would like to see how to play gta4 that would b pretty cool for wii, i have always been a fan of playstation and ps3 has amazing graphics and gameplay....so basically i cant take sides on either of these systems because they r both really good
