does the quad clamp work as just a simple clamp (like the stock Madd/Razor clamps do), or is this Defiant Quad Clamped marked as an SCS compression system?

if it's just a normal quad clamp, you just need a normal threaded fork... the bars go over the fork, and you tighten the clamp... that's it
