AUGUST SKATEPARK GRANT WINNER

Congratulations to Xtreme Wheels Skatepark for being the August Vitaball Great SK8 Giveaway grant recipient!

Xtreme Wheels Skatepark received an unprecedented 600 votes and one upped last months grant winner by becoming the overall votes leader. Already the premier facility in western New York, this 30,000 square foot indoor facility will be enjoying some cool upgrades and new features for its park!

The race for the final three grants is tight, and at this point its anybodies game! Who will be the next park to receive a Vitaball grant of $10,000 in products and services from the American Ramp Company, or $5,000 cash for new equipment?

We'll have to wait and see, but in the meantime, check out the leaderboard to see where your park stands. Rally your troops and you'll be skating on new equipment in no time!

Hi Matt,
Isn't it awesome that we won? I have decided to take the cash, I think we
could do more with the money than what American Ramp Company would do for
us. I have not decided what we will do as far as new construction. Every
winter we make some renovations and I will hold onto the money until then.
We have decided ages ago to not do a foam pit, for a variety of reasons.
With our reasons being lengthy, I will save that conversation for when I see
you so I am not typing for the next hour!


(side note, i said to her that the XW comp is probably the most organized and consistent competition [TZ is done.. SD has only had 1 comp... TIC had 2 but this next one is up in the air...] so yeah..)


As far as the Scooter Comp being the only truly organized, consistent
competition: This makes me most pleased. I work very hard to make sure
things flow smoothly, as you well know by now. I want to be the nations #1
scooter comp destination and blow everyone else away. This helps raise the
standard in the industry to my level, not the other way around. You have
known me long enough to know I do strive for perfection.

Stop by sometime soon, and take notice that I added a scooter member day on
the October calendar. Every Monday is a discount day for one group of
demographics getting 50% off admission. Now scooters have their day too!
