WMV playback?

Ive had my system reinstalled by the people who installed a new motherboard, and now I have a problem with some videos. Some, but not all of the WMV files are played with reversed colors... it applied to most videos when I used Windows Media Player, less, when using a diffrent player but still, there are some that are always played like that. I can't upgrade the Windows Media Player because my Windows is illegal or something, so is there anything I can do about it? are there any stand-alone wmv codec pacs or something?

Codec pack i use whenever i reformat, give it a try. And about not being able to upgrade to the new WMP, look on google for guides to get past the genuine advantage if you really want the new WMP (i don't think its that great though)

maybe its your video drivers, find out who made your video card and download the latest drviers and see if that changes anything.
