Wobbley Fisheye?

Yeah, I'm a TOTAL noob but I noticed when I was watching some videos that their fisheyes wobble? Its kinda weird just watch the corners of the screen or something.

Anyway the question is; Is this a bad thing? Or is it a sign you need a bigger ring adapter thing (forgot name) or should you just not worry?...

I should be getting a fish eye soon with the money I make out of the new YAKs I sell to the stupid fuckers at my local (i.e. the kids I dislike haha)

yeah iv'e seen that to. maybe it's because they are holding the fisheye in place and thats it...

I got myself banned.
Its because they have the image stabilizer feature turned on with their camera... its steady shot on Sony Cameras, digital image stabilizer (DIS) on JVC, image stabilizer (IS) on Canon cameras, optical image stabilizer (OIS) on Panasonic, im not sure about Samsung and other brands.

When the fisheye is on, you want that feature turned off. When the fisheye isn't on, i would probably turn it on so you don't get a bumpy/jittery shot, especially when your not using a tripod.

if you dont understand then simply put its because the CCDs just chill there while the camera shakes, giving the effect that the CCDs are shaking inside.

Yeah thats sorta right, when you shake the CCD movement is like smoothed out so the footage isn't jittery. When its off the CCDs aren't steadied so you don't have vignetting moving.

yea or even better or what i was trying to say is that when its on ccds are free to move when its off ccds are fixed with the body.

haha i never noticed that in my vids until i read this thread. and thanks to brian boston for saying what the names for it are on all the kinds of cameras other wise i wouldnt know what it was on my cam lol.

Just trying to better understand why people on razor have been taking a lot of shit in general lately. I wasn't really focusing in on the whole brian-ricky thing but yeah... I don't get the loss of respect for people on razor.

I just wrote like 2 more paragraphs but erased them... i guess it wasn't worth risking an argument or whatever. I'll shut up now.
