Working on a 5" razor pro deck plate

The start of my 5" razor pro. I wear size 13 shoes but don't have to money for a deck right now nor do I want to take a 150+ dollar chance on deck width, so I'm making a new deck plate from 1/4" lexan, good stuff. Still have some work to do but here's the general idea.

you could buy a lucky, do it on a razor ultra pro, or buy a tsi
Don't have the money for a lucky or tsi although I badly want a lucky haha. A razor ultra pro may be in the near future. Like I said though, this gives me a chance try try out a 5" deck width before I buy one at least.

looks legit, but its probably gona feel weird
It's only adding 1/4" to the deck height so I hope not too much. I need to buy taller bars pretty soon anyway so that would probably even out the feel.

Finished it. Grip tape is crap though because I ran out haha. Haven't gotten a chance to ride it because it's raining out.

looks like a piece of shit glued to the deck.........nice failure
Thanks ass hole. It actually has counter sunk screws underneath the griptape, done the right way rather than having bolts sticking through. Now, go make fun of someone else, might make you feel cooler.

Lexan is a strong, clear plastic. The same material they use on mythbusters for blast shields and is used to make bulletproof glass.

id say drop the 25 or w.e on a tsi deck plate. and just like hot glue it to your deck, liquid nails if u dnt wanna dirll holes. or u can drill holes and save time. soo much easier than that stuff

I'm cheap, and love fabricating. If I wanted it aluminum, I have metal available. I made it from lexan because it's lighter and 1/4 plastic wont hurt as badas hitting my ankles with 1/8" aluminum.

You can get lexan online from material suppliers. Not sure how much it is, I get mine from a machine shop.
