worn down wheels

hey guys, I'm just getting back in to scootering and I was riding my old set of yaks, the ones with 78a rubber, and I rolled the rubber off of the rim. Now these wheels were pretty worn down and I'm a lot heavier than when I got them. I'm looking at getting a new set of yaks, but don't want to roll the rubber off of them too. I loved how much smoother they were than the razor pro wheels, but is it worth buying another set or will the rubber just roll off of them because of my weight? Or did it roll off because they were worn down. Will the 88a yaks last longer or not roll off the rim as easily as the 78a? Will the 88a yaks even be any smoother than the stock razor pro wheels? Thanks for the help.

I ride both, more street than park though. Ya I'm not to worried about them wearing down to fast I just want to know if the rubber will roll off 88a as fast as the 78a's. And how much smoother of a ride are the 88a's vs the stock pro's?

Hot Glued Razor Pro Wheels are the best plastic cores out man. And there like smoother then YAKS too.

Get some Razor Pro Wheels and hot glue them. There AMAZING.

ya I have hot glued all my wheels, yaks, pro wheels, regular razor wheels. i like the yaks the best but they are softer. Well I ordered a set of 88a and 78a yaks and I still have my hot glued pro wheels, so I'll find some combination that works. Thanks guys
