If you were to cut the shim on a Blunt declare fork down to a regular size, would it work with an scs?

Let me understand, you want to trim down the IHC so that it fits inside the SCS?
If so, it will work, but it may not be strong. And I am not sure as to how you will get a starnut into the declare fork.

you can use an scs like a clamp with the ihc if that is what you are asking all you have to do is:
tighten the compression with the ihc compression
slide the scs over it
put the bars on and tighten it

js, if u want blunt forks to work with scs then the SOB forks are cheaper and basically the same thing without ihc, so it would easily work with scs. as rob says, it defeats the purpose of what the product was made for
