Lol, when i left 2(or so) years ago there was a buzz about pro-models and the only metal cores i could find were micros. (in the uk). When i came back everyones riding pro-models and loads of mods were out and being used like mad. i'm amazed.

the funniest thing is actually skateboards derived from scooters pretty much. it used to be a piece of wood with 4 wheel and wooden handlebars then kids started taking off the bars and got a skateboard

incorrect.....again.......

the concept of a "Board" has been around for thousands of years, through the ice age and caveman times, so actually it could be millions of years

a scooter however i don't think has been around more than a few centuries...

Sorry tony.

Well yeah, the range of products we can buy for our scooters is phenomenal, the combinations are endless.

What'll really get the sport moving though is an existing popular brandname getting into the scene.

as soon as that hits. were in for good. honestly. one big company sponsors someone hella good... then all the competting companies gotta match that... cannot wait for that day. and honestly that could be next year or in 10 years... but itll happen

i agree the sport is growing but there is still LOADS that needs to pick up, a good goal for this website would be to somehow get scooters into the Xgames within the next 5 to 10 years. I really hope all of you young kids on this website stick with it, because if you guys dont grow up and continue to ride once your past high school, than not too much is gained.

The problem with a leading brand getting into scooting is because they already have the attention of the BMX/skate scene. Why? Because they are DEDICATED to those sports.

Billabong is huge. They sell surf gear.
Birdhouse/Powell is huge. They're the first skate brand.

Brands like Destructo, FIT Bike Co., Plan B, Maxxis, they're all leading brands because... well... they're basically the Proto of their sports. They dedicate themselves to the single sport and bring out parts SPECIFICALLY for the people.

As glorious as the idea sounds, there's not a lot of chance of a leading brand budding up with scooters.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! IS JDBEN FUCKING SERIOUSLY TRYING TO TELL ME WAT IM SAYING IS FUCKING WRONG!? Little boy listen to me, you are incorrect like always the only thing you good for is being someone we can all hate and want to kill, you are a redheaded firecrotch PHUCK who literally should be incinerated, no one likes you at all, you are the butt of every joke and seriously This WHOLE forum would be better off without you on it, you have nothing good to say about anything or anyone, you think you no it all when it comes to scootering when in fact you NO NOTHING, and you shoot down everyones remarks with your own that are ALL false! you are probably like this because you get picked on at school and your family doesnt love you so you come on here to try to do what everyone does to you. GOD I NEED A BEER!
