Reading this forum means more to me now that I have met many of you at our comp. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves at XW. I had a great time myself. The scooter community is nothing like any other sport...you guys are awesome!

Once everyone has compiled video footage, I would love to have a part of it to post on my web site. Also, any good action pics. I saw cameras everywhere, especially during best trick. Send me something for our site. Email to info@xtreme-wheels.com.

Thanks, Virginia

that park looked crappy to ride for a comp
I thought it was awesome compared to TIC, it was easy to get to the ramps without wasting time because they all were super high like TIC's. Never rode TZ so i can't compare it to that.

I wanna have a comp at woodward/xgames/united/xpark/franklin mills whatever its called, it has a really nice setup for lines if its empty but their redoing it in october, hopfully they keep the general idea of the park the same. Although it could be alot better if they change the whole thing

in australia we are pretty lucky cos we don't even have to organise the comps ourselves, the councils and manly blades organise it for us.. because if we were to try to organise it ourselves it wouldnt happen because the councils wouldnt let us do it in any of the outdoor, public, skateparks.. and we dont have any indoor skateparks that allow scooters..

Not really lucky... its basicly the same here, except we help out the park owner with stuff so we can get the competition how we want it.

edit: what did that have to do with the thead anway

Plus if you didnt know, insurance here is MEGA HIGH. There used to be a indoor park and it was PACKED every day and had to go out of business 'cause the insurace was that high.

Corey Ryan organised the Mortlake comp's. He went to the council about it they gave him some money aswell as the freeza commity thing which is basically a youth program here.

But yes it sounds like it was a fun fun fun comp.
