Yak went out of bisuness after making 3 defective batches of wheels.
all new yaks suck, the urethane was cured wrong or something and the urethane sucks.
also to my new discovery, some low profiles are defective to.
my friend just got some and he isn't a very hard rider, but he dehubed his 100mm low pro and a bunch of
uncured urathane was in it.

i have 3 old 110 yaks, 1 is cracked all hot glued and they all work fine, ive been riding the cracked hotglued and it works fine. how much you want to pay?

from what i heard they did. I think someone needs to ask Andrew the hole story because i heard they went out of business now your saying they didn't.

someone figure it out please. haha they shouldve stayed to their old formula. life wouldve been so much easyer for everybody

they aren't out of business. The original owners sold the company to people in china, but they didnt sell them the recipe for the urethane, so the chinese company fucked the wheels.

and chris you're retarded, yak was absolutely a scooter company.

Their website still exists... they made most of their money as a wholesale distributor of race wheels (like hyper stripes). It appears they took their experimental brand of race wheels, retooled em and sold em for scooters (they make 84mm racers)... it's not like since their new yaks sucked they stopped doing anything... i've even seen their site make updates (in june 110s were listed as out of stock in july the out of stock thing wasn't there, new wheels being added, etc.)
