No Yak Research is still in business. They weren't just a scooter wheel company Zak.

from what i heard they did. I think someone needs to ask Andrew the hole story because i heard they went out of business now your saying they didn't.

Their website still exists... they made most of their money as a wholesale distributor of race wheels (like hyper stripes). It appears they took their experimental brand of race wheels, retooled em and sold em for scooters (they make 84mm racers)... it's not like since their new yaks sucked they stopped doing anything... i've even seen their site make updates (in june 110s were listed as out of stock in july the out of stock thing wasn't there, new wheels being added, etc.)

Yak research doesnt make yaks you nob there just a wholesale company that buys yaks and sells them

Not exactly. They are a wholesale company that also makes their own wheels that they sell wholesale. I'm pretty certain of this.

hi all i work in a bike shop in australia and we buy from yak research all the time so there are 100% still in business as we get 100mm 110mm 125mm yaks and 100mm 110mm low pros and yak bearing kits and alot of there other parts and as a scooter rider my self i must say there wheels are great and as are all there other parts and i have never known them to be out of stock as we are buying them all the time and have always gotten stock to us in just a few days and yes they are wholesale only as you have to spend a min of $300 each order so if you want wheels and other parts from yak research you can get them just as long as you are willing to spend min $300 so hope that clears up some things for you guys cheers!!!!!
