Is it really that terrible, most of the footage ive seen with it looks pretty nice, and i dont want to have to buy the baby death really because itss going to cost me alooot more. so has anyone ever used one ?

its not cheap, it says the original list price is 600$, and its 150 right now, but for some reason the 0.3x goes from the 37mm for $79.00, to the 58mm for $200.00, and i need the 58mm, plus i get that skaters package thing and basically get a light and grip for free

It has a ridiculously long thread ring thingy so you have to zoom like all the way through the vig and that makes for less distortion. From what I hear the Baby Death is made with HD in mind and this one isn't or something. I would find a used Baby Death if I were you.

Vortex's have way to much vig and you have to zoom through.
just get the baby death. Theres a reason everyone has them and not vortex's.

Do research though. Don't just find a Baby Death on one site and order it. Really look for the best deal haha you'll be surprised with what you can find.
