i actually dont mind seeing this cuz all sports have kids like this. its something that wont go away so u just gotta get used to it. and this is the kind of stuff that makes me miss the scene when pretty much every1 rode pro models so no1 bitched about this kid isnt good enough for this scooter.

I've got over getting annoyed when kids have better scooters than me, there's no point dwelling on shit that you can't change, just let them waste their parents money after all it does help out community in a way. Just get over it, they'll always be there, and you don't know they might grow into good riders.

Its about riding, not fashion. You get pro parts when it would be nice to make the tricks you know how to do a little bit easier.

This and this.

I don't really agree with this. Here, with skateboarding, everyone starts on cheap boards like enuff and darkstar and these boards last them until they need a new board/deck. I have never seen any boarders with £60+ boards that don't shred.

Blue bit: I agree with.

It kinda pisses me off, but I find it more annoying when they say shit like Mgp is the best fuck everything else. And like dpnelson31 said, they all seem to lose they're shit when you don't upgrade parts every month

Speaking of these kids... When I went to California, everyone asked my if I was going to buy new wheels. I have 1.5 year old Proto wheels and the front wheels is completely square but has plenty of life left. Everyone thought I was crazy. These kids said they would never ride a wheel like that, but there is nothing wrong with it! I guess these kids are in the same boat, buying new stuff based on appearance instead of performance and making it last.

Lol I love when my wheels are square that's when I consider them worn it

Same here, I ride my wheels until I dehub them, chunk them beyond rideable, or wear them down to the core. I don't neeed new wheels just because the urethane isn't the same shape as it was new.

Exactly. I would buy wheels with a squared off urethane shape if I could.

I'm on both sides of this discussion since I sell parts and I imagine any other store out there is thankful for those kids/parents.

I'm not a very good salesman though as I had to talk a Mom out of buying a 5 year old a Blunt Complete :0

She bought one for her son who is 11 and then his 5 year old sister cried that she wanted one like his for her birthday.

Talked her into an Airwalk sold at Big 5- on sale for $59.95

Sorta works out in the end- she paid me to cut the bars down- a lot less profit but I'm at the park a lot and I don't want to be the scumbag selling 300.00 scooters to 5 year olds.

I'll sell em' to 11 year olds LOL :)
