Probably just a box cutter scratch from cutting grip tape. That's my guess, because those things are fucking hard

I know lots of people that have cracked a reventon. They're just stress cracks, it's not breaking anytime soon.

No, Maddgear released the extremes in early 2011. They had holes on top and on the bottom and they were huge. Everyone started breaking them in the same spot, so they fixed it, and the NEWER 2011 ones dont have holes in the bottom, and they have smaller ones on the top.

They did the same thing with the flexfenders, the early 2011 ones have one hole drilled with a flexy, the newer 2011 ones have two drilled side by side for a flexy.

EDIT: I may be wrong about not having holes on the bottom, but if they do they made them smaller.

EDIT 2: Yeah, my friend has a newer one, woulda sworn there were no holes in the bottom, but I just looked at a picture and there are, my bad.

Its deffs one of the new ones, the old ones had 10 holes and the 2 holes closest to to the headtube weakened the deck so they took them out, the newer ones have 8 holes lol the 2012 vitro extremes dont have holes in the bottom
