YOUR BROKEN SCOOTER

its only as strong as its weak point, way off the "12 ton press test" and the fact that tsi is "solid" sends all the shock to that weak point. alloy, once heat effected from welds will never retain full or barely 1/2 the metals tensile strength or malleability no matter how treated post welding. thats why there is no alloy freestyle bmx frames, only racing. you would see titanium as more common regardless of price.

would it be a better idea if someone used a chromo tube as the headtube/neck on a deck, welded to the usual alloy deck? not sure if itd really work (if the welding would connect the two or something)

cant make a full chromo deck cause that'd be too heavy, and itd be bad or something

idk could work

if you only used a cromo headtube, wouldnt the front end be super heavy and unbalanced?

No. You can't weld steel to aluminum.

nope, just make decks without welds, no need to change metals yet, i am aware more than others how good and how far we can go with alloy if done right. will always cost money for uncommon methods of production tho

You honestly need to start a scooter company already.... Every one of your posts ive seen on SR is always a great idea and has logic and thought put into them.

cheers man, im not fussed with that right now, scooters arent going to run away and nor am i, just waiting for a better time to do that, and there is better times coming for scooters as a whole.
lets just say if you seen scooters overall from my view, you would believe that we have exactly what the other sports have with no perceived limitation on progression of riding and parts and right now, thus a sustainable sport which cant be killed because... no central or imperial power (isa is a direct threat to this once they understand thier percieved "authority" over the competitive side of our sport which fyi is all the scootkids see of our sport, our side is behind a veil to them untill they figure out they want something better out of scooters AND I WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT THAT WAY, it holds true value then untill we can all come together with the right projected image).
parts and even if you dont understand what i mean, our attitudes are limiting us atm, not our ability. we think we are open minded but not really, not to the extent that our sport can actually take advantage of.

I've had my Tsi flight 20 for over 2 years and Im 6'5 and weigh like 180 and I've done pretty big gaps and jumps and my deck doesn't have the slightest crack, like I don't know if the planets were in alignment when they made it or What but this it is the strongest deck in the world (I'm talking about my specific deck not all flights) and it's not like I don't grind, I grind hella and I'd say the back end is almost grinded through but it still holds up.
