i kinow its only .5 but i know a kid that had an 83 thresh and it broke in like two months then he got an 82.5 and its lasted him 4 times longer both v2s

One example does not mean it is true for every deck. That's like saying I know a person who got shot and died instantly, so everyone who gets shot dies instantly.

If the HT angle made a difference then how would you explain someone buying multiple Addict decks, all the same sig model, all with the same HTA but they last different lengths of time? My friend had two of the same Addict deck and he hadn't really progressed in the time between switching the decks but one lasted way longer than the other. Sometimes people have times where they ride harder than other times, maybe they have an off couple of months so they don't ride as hard or they clean up those sketchy tricks they have learned so their deck lasts longer.

I kinda thought that would happen, they butted the fuck out of them to keep them light but there's only so much weight you can remove before it starts affecting strength. I wouldn't worry though, that was probably one of their team riders who goes hard as fuck, if you're not someone who breaks parts often you'll probably be right, or if you're that worried just swap them

Those were shorty's and he goes pretty hard so you shouldn't have to worry too much. I just got some too and they feel awesome. If you cut down the width of the bars, less force will be exertered in that area so it will be less likely to break there. I cut mine to 23" so not much, but some.

So yeah i rode them for less than six hours and theres a about 1.5" crack in the same spot those ones snapped

i got ahold of skyhigh and they said they'd contact Ethic, They better fucking have a warranty on the for that price...

Cocksuckers only lasted a week, only rode 4 out of the 7 days too.... Ethic is sending me new ones already so i hope it was just a defect

i'd say they're really light, imo they have the weight of an alu bar but still have the spin momentum of a steel bar

Oh no doubt i really hope my new pair will hold up because i don't want to run any other bar after riding these. everything is perfect about them

What did you even do to break them

hmmm, i think it was the first day i rode them i did a barspin over a like 4.5 foot drop by 15-16 foot gap over a ledge at a skatepark, at least it was right after that i noticed they were cracking, then yesterday i was riding a handrail at a skatepark and after a few times i noticed the crack getting really gnarly so i just pushed down really hard and it broke off
