The Razor El Dorado complete isn't a bad deal when you can find it on Amazon for cheap. Today the white one is $53.81 (free shipping). The wheels suck, but the bearings are the best I have. The deck itself is aluminum, though only 108mm wide. The bars are chrome moly but heavy. They are also narrow. I am using them anyway. So for around $50, you get a usable deck, great wheel bearings and axles, a fork and grips. I had another El Dorado deck so I am using that now. Next deck will be something wider.that deck is named after my local park, not sure how I feel about that
Happens to me all the time. I just buy cheap bearings and replace them whenever they explode on me. The cheap ones tend to last longer for me anyways.Had my Protos (with new bearings) for only a week, heard my rear wheel squeaking, had a look and my bearing casing had come off, exposing the ball bearings.. -.- how the fuck does that even happen? Anyway, I emailed the shop I got it from so hoping they can replace it haha
Oh wow.. I've never had it happen before haha. But I got a reply from the shop I bought it from, apparently bearings aren't covered on warranty (obviously) but he'll send me a new "setup" (so I'm guessing new proto with bearings included?)Happens to me all the time. Although the proto bearings that came in my proto wheels that I got like a month and a half ago are still in a really solid condition. Some of my favorite bearings in awhile.

So much for the bargain $49 Razor El Dorado deck. The lightness of a 2.6 lb deck is nice, but this one didn't even last a year. I has one more of these decks on hand because I knew it would eventually beak. But what should I get now? I want a wide deck. Maybe sledge?
