soon i probably will be getting a nikon d40, maybe a nikon d50. i have enough money, im just waiting a while to make sure its what i really want. also dylan, i was going to get that camera, but i talked to a few people and they said if you are going to spend that much on a point and shoot, just spend the extra money and get an slr.

It does everything an SLR does just not quite to that standard.


And why shuddnt he get a flash ??

Yeh, It's pretty far from a P&S. It has many many features just like a SLR and a bit more from DSLR's that don't have. These expert bitches said this was a good camera for a advanced user, and who can't afford decent SLR cameras, But they said the image stabilization was sort of weak. :S?


P.S. omg! my Australian grandfather says in a year. hes most likey going to hand me his Nikon D200 or his F5 when he buys his new cameras! :D :D :D :D ( But the fucking cameras he has, the bodys and lens are just to fucking heavy! :( )

P.S. 2 one said the flash ( sunpak one ) it will increase my available light in low light
situations that i'll have with the camera ( I really don't know all this shit there saying, so yeh help would be nice XD ).

yeah but still listen to ppl that have the camera get a nikon or a canon and one flash really wont help and if you get one flash get a better one than that.

it is a point and shoot. it isnt an slr. it is meant to be an slr look alike. its still a decent camera.

I've just read the last few posts.. Shelby stop telling people what to do/buy with they're money, its up to them not you tbh.

Maybe give advice like " ohh i think you'd be better off waiting, and saving up some more money to buy an slr" but ur like " dont buy this, dont buy this" so shoosh woman.


sorry just it was annoying me.

One flash and an off-shoe cord works wonders.

I didn't say it was an slr haha

Its not really a point and shoot it has shutter priority and manual settings and so on .


And yea I have 1 $60 flash and some cheap ebay slaves and it works a treat .

lol yeh its prob a specific one for u Pentax.
I got a Vivitar one which are universal.. so they just mount onto any cam with a hot shoe
