Erik why are you getting a 40d,it seems a bit advanced for you?
No offence or anything but i dont think your good enough to need a 40d

yes i very much so do
ive had mine for almost a year now and im still learning about it there is SO much you can do with it its a amazing camera
also what i would recommend just get a 20d because its the exact same thing as the 30d and 40d only the lcd is smaller and its wayy cheaper

i really dont think erik will have much trouble with it especially since everything is there for you i mean i went from a fujifilm finepix s5000 a pretty bad camera for sure alot worse than eriks to it ad i didnt even have to read the manual

Brian Boston , is there a book that you would recommend for me to get to learn about ISO , shutter speed , aperture and everything else? Something which is easy to understand? I'm thinking of buying it online.

It is difficult for me to get camera books here as most book stores sells books which are only in chinese and I don't read chinese. Thanks for replying too.

I think buying a book would be a waste. I would just look online for some tutorials and you will mostly get better hands on. If you just fool around with your camera a lot, you'll get the hang of it pretty soon.

I don't really know any, sorry. I would just look around on good and look for one with good reviews.

Nice steven, well since were on the topic of cameras has anyone ever used this site? i looked on resellerratings but there was nothing for it. The prices are low but it seems pretty legit.
