The better choice would be to go with the mark III which is newer tech and it has 10fps burst..plus its only 4grand.

the mark 2 n has 9.5 fps, and its like a thousand or two cheaper.

No, its 8.5...and its a grand cheaper. But if your already spending 3 grand you might aswell spend another grand and get more fps and newer technology. Plus the mark III has better ISO selection, faster flash sync, a better battery, 3.0"lcd (not that it matters) and it weighs less.
