I know, haha. and the back hole isnt in the middle cause i was looking at it from a weird angle, then when i changed the angle it was REALLLYYYY thick at the bottom.

I've thought a new braking system that I might draw up in sketchup later. BTW this is first time doing any scooter part in sketchup.

Brake idea. Not really that practical but it would work. Would be a huge pain machining it haha.

The square hole and threaded part would have to be up the front of it not at the back. (I cbfed doing it atm front)

Basically the brake would slide into the groove part and secured with the bolt that is screwed in from the top of the deck. The bolts would go from the corners not from where they are in the picture haha. I don't really know how the brake would be able to be slide in without the grooves going all the way out until the end of the deck though hahaha.

so basically, you have taken the simplest, easiest and most dialed part on a scooter and made it overly complicated and tbh pointless
