i know most people here hate school, but i want to know what other peoples schools are like. i know i fucking hate my high school (i dont go anymore i got expelled)

like for example, we have 3 classes a day, 1 hour 55 minutes long each. the teachers dont give a fuck about the kids, everything is overcrowded and completely out of control, there are the typical cliques like from a movie, most of them wannabes of some sort. lots of hicks, and preppy kids. those are the two main groups. it was like a playground for me, i could do whatever i wanted and not get caught. i liked that part, but that also means that most of the teachers really dont care about teaching the kids. we have super super low funding and the budgets are so tight. i feel bad for everyone who attends that hell hole

I go to a continuation school, It's super sick actually. Classes are like 35 minutes and we get out a hour earlier than the normal schools, + it starts around 45 mins later than normal school. All the teachers are super fucking chill. They are like basically another friend in the class. And our schedule is sick we have periods 1-2 then a 25 min break, then periods 3-4 then 30 minute lunch, then 5th period and we're done. School got pretty cool again once I started going here.

i do online school. american academy. i like it a lot, i do like 3 hours of work a day and im set to graduate a year early because im working way faster now. and i have all A's and B's

Yeah continuation school is sick because you work at your own pace, you get credits every day rather then just at the end of the semester like in normal school. I should be graduating next september, rather than may of 2014. That's if I don't go back to my normal school to graduate with my class.

James, that seems like the alternative school around here, there are a total of like 10 teachers and 150 students, and the classes are just kids working at their own pace, you just set a dat for a test, and get your work done by then, and you can still go to this other school called New MArket where there is classes with more oppurtunities to learn

My school is sick.
All my teachers are chill, i make my day fun in order to overcome the thought of omg im at school.
i start at 8:15 and go till 2:53 monday, tuesday, friday and Wednesdays-thursday we go 8:15-1:58, but each class is an hour and 38 minutes on those days

Ends at 3:20
Every period is one hour and we have periods 1&2 then a 30 min lunch break then periods 3&4 then another 30 minute luncn break then period 5
There is like 2 good teachers, the others are just shit heads that think they know everything
And 60% of the students are the biggest dogs/dickheads.
There's lots of drugs and illegal shit going on and also fights
80% of the ground you walk on is made out of gum people have spat out on the floor
Gum everywhere under the desks
Lots of shit goes down
Some kids had sex in one of the classrooms
Some girl injected a needle into herself
And most of the kids are trouble
And the work is ridiculous

My school sucks, starts at 7:45 but ends at 2:41. The only good thing is we use blocks instead of periods so we have 4 classes a day and it goes by pretty quick. Ugly girls, bad food, and shitty teachers (except a couple), and the prinicipal is a neo nazi

starts at 8:15, goes to 2:47
~50 min classes
my science teacher is the most sexual teacher, but now she got a student teacher to teach for her
80% of teachers are kinda hard on you
the Leadership class teacher didnt care what we did so we wondered the halls
the Art teacher just gives us assignments to do and just lets us talk and draw
the Tech Arts teacher lets us free after he talks to us for 2 minutes so we can work on our wood projects or laser engraving

school is clean
food is "ok"
80% of the students like cats
everybody is obsessed with ofwgkta

The good-
-all computers are new Imac, macbook, ipads. yes our school wasted all its money on ipads
-late starts every Wednesday
-clean
-we have starbucks and a store

The bad-
-hallways are crowded AF
-if you dont have a car, iphone and don't do sports your a nobody... i dgaf about that
-classes are setup like collage
-food sucks, cooks spend most of time smoking

Rants-
everyone things they can drift there fwd everywhere
alot of kids drive brand new cameros/ benz's and dont know how lucky they are
all chick wanna cause drama and be center of attention
freshman think there cool because they have a ecig
i hate our administration, there too controlling
if we have a lock-down its probably due too someone calling in a man wearing a dark jacket that walked by there house, yeah everyones a pussy

its a 4x4 scheadule so i have 2 electives and 2 required classes everyday that way i finish each class in half a year rather than all year.
we have about 90 electives(autoshop, screen priting, photo imaging, business managment, skate pe, surf pe)
we dont have a cafeteria we have a place we call the Mosaic Cafe and its run by the students in the business managment class so all of the food is made in front of you by students in that class, also in the Mosaic we have the Attic Retail Corner and that is like a small skateshop where they sell donated clothes and skateboards and student made t-shirts from the screenprinting class.
theres no cliques at my school so everyones super nice
we have off campus lunch so everyone comes back baked

well when i went to HS, it was 8:45-4:15. stupid long. everyone was rich as fuck. full of wanksters and swag fags. oh and rich illegals from mexico. that school was retarded so i left. now im doing online school, wake up at 12 and do 3 hours max a day lol. life is nice. no drama no BS

Bell for class rings at 8:20, have a ten minute break to get to class for 8:30. Four classes a day, hour and twenty minutes long each. Ten minute break between all classes with an hour Lunch. School wise, the building should have been torn down two years ago if not for adding onto the building creating more classrooms. Teachers vary from old farts who don't know shit to young teachers that are pretty chill. Most teachers don't care if you're baked as long as you aren't a disturbance and it doesn't affect your work. Cliques are the general movie cliques (Preps, Douchebags, Swag Tryhards, Nerds, Drama Nerds, Band Geeks, Stoners) but also there are the French Preps (worse than normal ones) and then there are just kids that don't fit a clique.

Academically, its a pretty great school, but its expensive as fuck. $18,000 per year. It takes a 25 minute drive to get there everyday.

Only 11 days left of the year, though. Then summer. Then college. Gonna miss it tbh.

^^^I go to the same school. It's great other than the homework. The no girls thing doesn't bother me at all now cause I have a girlfriend and school is kinda more chill with all guys, much less drama. Plus going there helps everyone get into good schools.

I'm excited for college but I'm definitely gonna miss a lot of people there.
