AT&T and T-Mobile are the best 2 services. The only problem with AT&T is that their data plan prices are pretty expensive.

i just read that i dont even know when you said it, but everyone here has verizon. its the best here by far, you get great signal wherever you go in the area. I was texting people on the plane going to VT and stuff at like a bajillion-thousand feet haha. but yeah, one of my friends has t-mobile and hes shunned. (lol)

maybe for you, but where i live its by far the best. i get service where noone else does.

and why do you want all those expensive ass phones? its a phone, you call people on it. if you want more get a blackberry/pda, neither if which you need.

agreed, but i like new phones with the mp3s build in to save taking both places, but my phone is in the ocean now.

Signal isn't the only factor in the best service, Verizon STILL uses CDMA. No sim card is an automatic lose.

Verizon phones dont have Sim-cards. cdma is a communication channel which has like a coding scheme

i agree, if they just made a phone with just calling, no camera, internet access. all i need is a phonebook on there and a way of contacting people. i dont need to check myspace every 5 seconds on my phone.

the camera is cool because you can take pictures of your car for insurance info. if you get in a crash, or some shirt you want for your birthday, or your girl so people can see her, etc...
but internet, bluetooth, and games-pointless. same with texting and email.
i like how my phone is an mp3 player with 2gigs of space, because someone stole my ipod

CDMA is the network, and its outdated. I think Verizon is the only company that uses it anymore. You have to program the phone for your number. If you ever break your phone, loose it or get a new one, you have to transfer all your numbers over to your new phone (so that really sucks if you broke it). Every other company uses GSM and sim cards. I have my address book backed up on my sim. If my phone ever breaks or it dies and i can't charge it, i can just pop the sim card in my old phone and use it till my phones charged or i get a new one.

Alot of my friends verizon phones block them from transferring custom ring tones from computer to phone via cable... forcing you to buy them. Scumbags.

Ehh im down with games, tetris is a time killer for car rides and shit. Texting definitely isn't pointless, i use that shit all the time. I don't use email but i could see how that could be handy.
