Your riding footwear?

People ride in janoskis? I have 4 pair of those and I would never ride in those pieces of shit, they barely protect and are made out of canvas/suede at best. Amazing hacky sack shoes though. They do feel good to wear too. Butttt, why the fuck don't shoe companies make leather shoes any more? At least make the toes and heals leather, or rubber, or something. I remember the nike 6.0 insurgents. Rubber toe cap, leather toe, leather heal. Shoe actually fucking lasted. At least janos aren't 6000 pieces sewn together. How could anyone do that for a shoe and market it as a skate/bike/what have you shoe? I ride leather 6.0 encores. Fat, safe, comfy.

just picked up some black ruckus
ruckuses dont even wear out its insaneeee. Sometimes i do those hang fives where you balance by scraping your toe along the ground and even then it barely makes an impact. Had mine for almost three years now. They look like shit but theyre as structurally sound as the day i bought them.

how long do your shoes last you guys? I Normally get like 6-7 before the sole gets worn down too much and is basically flat and grip too well. Thats how almost all my shoes die though, never really have to trash a pair cuz of rips and stuff

I like ruckus's but i have to wear them in for a few weeks first cause they are really stiff, thats whats keeping me from starting on another pair

We don't ride skateboard, I don't understand how people rip suede shoes in the first place(unless they rip at the stitching which is understandable) I have three pairs of janoskis, two are suede and one is canvas, never had a problem with any of them. In fact, they are the only shoes that I have been scootering in for almost two years now.

Mica, have Elyts even been around for 3 years? Much less the Ruckuses?
I usually go for Fallens, they are a good balance of durability/feel. The soles usually last longer than vans for me. I stick with minimalistic shoes.

Dean prefers Osiris (new ones don't have all the goofy color schemes and velcrow strap) with doubled up heel gels
