I'd say they aren't pointless if you know how to use them. In David's case, i would have moved them up a little, so the top edges would support the deck under the top facet, but now they really aren't supporting anything.

well we had a little trouble cutting them and i mean there off my maybe a little under a 1/4 inch. even with it not touching the top of the deck and all the bolts are securing them on each side it will make my scooter last 3-4 more months.
used flatbar like 1/8 inco or somthing but i can tell you this scooter is completly solid.

Davids scooter is unbelievable. If I could jes touch it....

Well, I can see why Stanio can do all those gnarly whipfingerwhipflips and whatnot. He eats his Cheerios, with 100% daily values of 10 vitamins and minerals haha.

Jeremy, send me that deck when you get a new one! And what's the deck I see in the corner? Sweet bars too.

Keons, wide bars are better in pretty much every aspect except weight and barspins, and they barely change barspins and weight anyway. They just feel so much better, you have more control over your scooter, I guess more leverage in a way. And with stock bars, I'm sure putting one metal tube through the bars is much more solid than the two crappy ones that're stock.
