Yeah, i always cut my back peg down, and i cut the front one down because it sits out quite a bit because of the forks.

No do not sell SR forks for SMX. That would be THE worst mistake. SR forks are beast.

Yeah, and they are original seeing as barely anyone has them these days. I would keep those. Seeing as they were the first threadless forks made it is some piece of memorabilia so I wouldn't be too hasty in selling them lol. That's just me though.

And considering you have a madd, they go better with your scooter than smx.

Those aren't SR forks, they're SenioRs. Big difference. I was in the same place a while ago and I went with the SMX just because I had my brand new VertX one already.

Yah, sorry about the confusion. They are SenioR forks, I didn't know there was that much of a difference seeing as how they have the same basic design. Was it worth going with the SMX or do you regret it?

And Keiran I do appreciate the input, I'll keep what you said in mind before I do anything with these forks.

Well they really aren't THAT different, it's just that the SR forks are the originals and therefore are getting pretty rare. I wouldn't ride one though, the SenioRs are infinitely stronger than SR forks. It's just like something you'd have that you'd almost not want to ride so you wouldn't break it, like full core Protos.

As for the SMX, no I don't regret it at all. The SMX is the best fork I've ever ridden, period. It's relatively light, strong as hell, and the VertX threaded insert alone is enough to keep me riding it vs any other fork. Starnuts suck.
