You dont need replacement spacers. the spacers that come with are fine.

I have hollow techs, no. You just have to take the time to install them correctly since the slots are tight.

well then I'm not sure, both me and luke maffesoni hammered them in lightly; and it worked. Maybe your bearings were bad?
