Finally rigged something up to make my v4 work for now until I can get the right spacers for the back.

Hate it. But I've been riding Flights for the past two years so my opinions on decks are extremely skewed. It's gonna take a while for me to get used to a light deck.

I got this v4 for free so I'm not complaining. But you must know me well because those are the only two decks I would consider buying if I was in the market for a new deck.

If your dust cover hits your deck, you're using the wrong dust cover. That wouldn't make your headset loose though. It would make your headset not spin at all once you tighten it down.

wrong and wrong, that just means that some dust covers are wrong with some decks then according to you.

also what happend to your flight???

There is pretty much no standard to how deep integrated headset cups are. Some dust caps are a little taller than others so they might scrape therefore you need some dust cap spacers. All my envy headsets can with them

Not really, more saying that manufacturers should pay attention to how deep they make their integrated headset cups.

Edit: My Flight is fine, just wanted to try something different.

V4's are maaaaaaad ugly.. the original headtube from the V2/V2i's were just waay cooler

I wouldn't say it's ugly, just doesn't look like what you think of when you picture a District. I agree with you in that sense, but without the District bias it's actually a pretty nice looking deck.
