I've always been told that the bolts go on the right side, try flipping it and see what happens.

If it were upside down he wouldn't be able to tighten it, if nobody has noticed the outer diameter on a fork tube is smaller than the diameter of standard sized bars, so if it were upside down it wouldn't fit.

Its defective, I noticed this when my friend was putting it on his scooter (it used to be my friends.)

Ugh, last time I went to the docs, which was a few months back, I was somewhere around 5'8. Prolly a bit taller now though, but not by much.

ive been 5'10" for like 3 years, and i just switched to 24.5 literally today, and they feel massive. barspins feel really awkward with really tall bars.

I rode 24.5 for the past few months, and once I got used to it, I felt like to was so small. And yeah, it is weird, ive never been a barspin champ, but glad I learned em on higher bars rather than low.

Style has nothing to do with taller bars, thats the dumbest thing ive heard.
