I used to ride bmx a lot in the mid 90s and we always ran them then. I mean these things are so huge that I never touch them anyway. Plus they say "Made in the USA" on them which is cool.

I posted my scoot on fb too and got similar criticism. What's up with all the hate on flanged grips?

i have flanges on my bike but thats so i know where my brake lever is for fufanus and such. Idk its kinda unflushed looking but if you like it then its cool by me

I used to ride with flanged grips too, so I don't wanna hear shit about them. I've had tons of fun on scooters when they had flanged grips and tons of fun when they've had unflanged grips. So shut up and ride yo god damn scooter, please.

i don't get the need to go through all that work to screenshot my profile and all that noise. As far as i can tell me and majohnson1 are cool and i was just asking because if you think about it the only non-asthetical use for flanges is when one rides with their hands on the inside of their grip, but being on grips that wide, it would be equivalent to how one would place their hands on stock scooter bars. I am curious why you personally rode flanged grips.
I'm not talking shit about flanged grips either i have a pair on my cycle rn
