not really.... i tend to put lots of flatspots & little chunks in my wheels over time, as opposed to giant cracks and dehubbing. also, i always wear them down unevenly from sliders. most of the damage done to my wheels is from 5050 grinds... the sides of my wheels always get pretty badly ripped up, and the cores have chunks and dents in them. but my wheels are reaaally hard to break. ive only seen one badly chunked wheel (to the point where it's unridable.)

the wheels im currently riding are pretty worn out. (the ones in the pic are brand new)
