Oh my God, making a brake spring tighter is NOT rocket science.
1. Take the brake apart.
2. Tighten the spring to have the 2 ends closer together.
3. The spring gets more tense and therefore puts more stress into keeping the brake tight.
4. Put the brake back together.
5. Congratulations, have a cookie.
