Triangles are the strongest shape when they have weight put directly on the base and the opposite point. In this case, a rectangular downtube would be the strongest, Although this one has an internal reinforcement. My guess is this is the strongest deck you can buy at the moment.

Correction. The strongest shape is a circle. People think that is a triangle but its not. Circles evenly distripute presurre

I really disagree,
ok the break doesn't look amazing but its this and its DIFFERENT
headset is a fsa which is not really that bad at all
and the bars aren't failed crowbars , crowbars are a style that has been proven to be strong and feel good plus looks nice - no one bitches about bmx bars and there all similar

edited cos didient want to double post
it looks like it has integrated cups ? but ts really not ?

if you notice especially on top of head-tube the tapered section is bigger than it would be for integrated and i believe its simply thicker metal were more stress is applied = more strength.

^^^^ win/ @ anyone who replied to me i could have worded that beter, not the actuall headset haha ,where they go in, and NOBODY breaks decks at the point where the headset goes in so theres no point for it to be thicker

never heard of a ovalised headtube ?
plus the bits in between top and bottom can have less metal to save weight.
i didient word last bit very well , like maybe its not that much thicker than normal maybe the in-between the thicker bits theve made it thinner because there is little if any stress put on that bit.

the o.d. of headtube does nothing to help an ovalised headtube ? and all that metal they shaved off only adds to the cost of the deck and takes a negligent amount of weight off therfore, usless. Then again ive never ridden this deck so i cant really speak for it.

the bigger outside diameter the less likely it will be to bend/warp ..shurely ?
and true its more likely less to do with weight and more to do with aesthetics.
lol the only reason i posted in first place is when you mentioned bars, it seems on this forum loads of people say parts are rip off's of other parts when its just company's make what is going to sell well .
